About 10 Mile Lodge: Richard Lauson, a master log home builder, purchased
the lodge in 1992. Since purchasing the lodge, he has improved many
comfort features of the camps by renovating and building. Richard, a native of Ottawa, Ontario is an experienced bush pilot and
outdoorsman. He is joined by his wife Patty and staff. Both
Richard and Patty are avid outdoor enthusiasts brining many new activities to Ten Mile Lodge.
Our goals at Ten Mile Lodge are to continue improving the facilities until
we are Number ONE! The hydro-electric plant has been completed enabling us
to hear the birds as well as enjoy all the electrical amenities.
The recreation center is now in service as well as the 10 person
Jacuzzi and the sweatlodge. This year we are starting to build a health center. This will enable our
clients to enjoy a complete "meltdown".
We also encourage musicians, both amateur or professional to bring their
instruments! We have a piano and a guitar in the recreation center.
